PBS fan here — I dunno about their news coverage. Their coverage of the inauguration was too overwrought for me.

the hill editors let john solomon run amok for years. just ridiculous.

why? because the hill owner wanted to protect trump, and the hill didn't maintain a proper firewall to protect editorial independence.

the hill is owned by jerry finkelstein; solomon was his primary staffer to carry out that agenda.  solomon is gone from the hill, but finkelstein is still the owner, so the hill isn't trustworthy.
