[/quote] This was not a “gentle kick.” It was full in violent kicking trying to push me from the bed while hurling expletives at me. So, I did act in self defense to stop the kicking and get out. [/quote] How does throwing an alarm clock lead to you getting out of bed? If you got out of bed, and this person pursued you, then yes, throw something, but that doesn't sound like that's what happened. You both sounds abusive. I hope there are no children involved.
