DC saw it as a more intellectual/less status-driven alternative and applied EA, got accepted, immediately said yes. Re “ROI” (in itself, an anti-intellectal approach to college selection), arts/govt/social service/PhD programs were where most of DC’s friends headed after graduation. [/quote]
