Just yesterday we were out for a walk in the neighborhood and a random ~4 year old ran out of his yard and straight at her yelling "doggie".  While I almost had a heart attack, she luckily just stood completely still and I was able to remove her - but you never know. Also, she has had several medical procedures where I have had to do unpleasant rehab/wound care on her. I can't imagine how bad it would be if I was worried the whole time about her biting me.
