If he can't do this, why did we vote for him? The NUMBER ONE priority for Democrats in the 2020 election was Covid-19 and Economic Relief.
Biden should wake up sweating about this every morning.
I don't know, why DID you vote for him? I voted for him because I thought he was the better choice. I didn't vote for him because I thought he would make it all better right away or expend all his political capital before he even got elected.
One thing I like about Biden is that he seems to have suffered deeply enough that he doesn't wake up sweating anymore. It's not just how much he has suffered, but how he overcame it to become stronger. I can see that in him. He won't be jumping to your tune, so you'll just have to trust him.
Trust him - of course. But dude we're up against some massive deadlines. Congress is out of session on the 21st for nearly a month through Inauguration. If he's got a rabbit to pull out of his hat, the time is now.
And don't tell me he isn't a miracle worker...he stated that he wanted this done quickly. Well...?

I'm going to give him a break anyway. It's clear that no matter what he does for whatever reason, he will be criticized for not doing something else.
Biden’s a moderate, always has been a moderate, and will govern the country as a moderate. We’re in good hands. Where I fear most of the vocal irrational criticism will come from is the left who will increasingly find themselves sidelined by the admin.

Look I think the PP’s scenario is .... implausible .... however, let’s not pretend that Dems are handling the messaging on this well. I read better anonymous internet comments than I do actual statements from the most powerful people in the party. That’s bad.
Biden has been bragging about being BFFs with McConnell since Election Day. All I’m asking is that he cut a deal and get his buddy to bring up a Senate floor vote and push Pelosi/Schumer to let at least 10 Democrats support it.
