I only call him Mr. Lastname either to his face or wish referencing him. That's a normal part of office culture to me. Similarly, lots of my coworkers go by Mr. or Ms. Lastname (or Dr. where appropriate). I'm pretty senior in my office so I use more people's first names, but newer employees basically all use titles and last names. It doesn't seem that weird to me.[/quote]
