If having a beautiful nursery will bring your wife joy during those really tough nights, and you can truly afford it (like- you can buy nice furniture and also begin saving for college at birth) I say DO IT. I really find beautiful spaces calming. I know some people may not GAF, and that’s totally fine too— but there are so few things you can really do during a pandemic to make newborn life more enjoyable, so my vote is for spending money where you can, if you have it to spare.
