It's pretty standard actually.  Many ex-DA, now MLS next clubs have their second teams in ECNL.  And some of the ex-DA clubs which moved to ECNL now have both first and second teams in ECNL.  Whether Arlington's red teams would be competitive is a different question - but it's certainly not uncommon.[/quote]

There are more than that.  I can see Atlanta missing from the list for a start.

Also - just in the mid Atlantic division - Charlotte SA and NCFC play both first and second teams in ECNL (used to play just second team, but moved first team as well when DA collapsed)[/quote]
