Parts are expensive. Years ago had a Camry and a Taurus. Same year. My Taurus parts were supercheap. Camry parts almost double the cost. I also found the Camry harder to fix. My motor mount in Camry went cost me $600. No way to get to had to go to dealer. I did some repair on Taurus years later for $20. Actually just used car jack lift engine a few inches and slid $20 part in.

Funny yesterday I was behind a Taurus at a traffic light. I see a lot of Ford Taurus. Most are between 1985-1998 when a top seller. I saw on on I-95 the other day going 80. That is a 30 year old base model car, pretty impressive. I see way more 1980s Taurus’s vs 1980s canary’s and accords on the road [/quote]
