Even if she says she lives alone, she is not alone. In fact my friends and family who live alone are seeing more people than my friends who don't. No one is going spend 1 year+ completely isolated from anyone except their employer unless they are being paid an insane amount of money. The way to ask the question is "This is how our family is approaching COVID. I do x. Husband does y. We don't take public transit. Etc. How are you and your household handling it?" And then after that, you just have to decide if you trust this person to be careful or not and let go.[/quote]
