I am a PP that had a surprise pregnancy on the mini-pill. Not to scare you, but I took it way too long because I was still nursing and it was “the pill to take when you’re nursing“. I never even got a postpartum period. I had pregnancy symptoms but obviously didn’t think I was pregnant. My OB told me after the first ultrasound (a perfect and healthy toddler now!), that the efficacy of nursing combined with the mini-pill is zero as soon as the baby eats anything (table food, formula, etc.). WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW BEFORE, but oh well. All that to say, after my last I went on the regular pill asap and it didn’t even affect my milk supply.[/quote]
