Anyone has solution to prevent masks to be lost or dropped on the floor when kid take them off for snack/meal break or go outside to play?
Lanyard so they stay around the neck.
This immediately contaminates them when the inside of the mask touches the outside of the clothes.
FFS, do people really not understand the science behind masks? None of these cloth masks are going to prevent Covid germs from passing through and entering your nose and mouth. The cloth is porous. The only masks that do that are the N95 ones. But, wearing a cloth mask will help if YOU are the one that is sick, by preventing less droplets from exiting YOUR nose and mouth, so that YOU spread the disease to fewer people. “Contamination” is not something to worry about with these cloth masks.
Please don't be insulting, especially when you are wrong. Masks reduce the transmission, and yes, less the chance that the exterior of your clothes is contaminated with the droplet spray that transmit the virus is reduced by other people wearing masks. HOWEVER if you take the inside of a mask and contaminate by touching the exterior of your clothes that then have even a lower percentage of droplet spray and PUT IT BACK ON YOUR FACE, you will be contaminating yourself. It is the same with wear a mask and pulling it down to your chin or neck, and then pulling it back up again. Please don't be obnoxious, it does not help the conversation.
