The pope did this very thing recently so apparently it's something special for Catholics. If they did this as part of a church event and did it voluntarily, who cares? And let's not forget that many women of all races have their feet washed regularly by Asian women (at least in the DC metro area) as part of a pedicure. Even though it's a service we pay for, it still always feels a bit awkward to me. [/quote]
