Fairfax county athletic fields are open
Source?
I just went out and checked. Fairfax county fields are not open for permitting. And NoVA sling go to Phase I on May 29 per the governor today. https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/coronavirus
Both of you are correct. Fairfax County athletic fields are NOT open according to the government if you plan on having a soccer match there with 22 kids on the field. However, based on what I have observed so far in the past two months specific in the Mclean area, I see a small groups of less than 8 kids and a couple of coaches train everyday at a particular Fairfax County Public Park for three hours everyday for at least three hours right about the same time I go to my planting at the community garden. I see the police drove by everyday to check out the park but did nothing. Those kids even said hi to the police officer.

I see a group of five highly advanced kids and two soccer coaches train everyday for four hours at the open field of the FCPS in Mclean right across my house. My wife and I say hi and talk to them during our afternoon walk. This has been going on for at least six weeks, AFAIK. The school security and Fairfax County police drive by everyday but say nothing.
Is there any thought that kids like this be significantly more advanced than the other 95% of kids? My ulittle doesn't go out back to practice unless im with him. Otherwise i run 3 miles while he rides his bike just to attempt to keep some conditioning up. I hope coaches plan to add alot more conditioning training bc DSs has declined alot.
covid-19 is the ultimate separator between the "have" and "have not". Kids from wealthier neighborhood will separate themselves from kids from parents that can't afford training during the lock down. My kid plays lacrosse and he trains everyday with a former Silver metal Olympian trainer with five other soccer kids on physical training for two hours. The soccer kids train for two hours on soccer after the the physical conditioning. The physical trainer charges $50/hour per kid.
