CAN ANY OF THEM GO AN PLAY a FORMAL GAME TOMORROW? NO!
Let say you have two kids with similar skills and desire to be good in soccer, are you saying that the kid without private soccer coach/trainer will be just as good as the one with private soccer coach/trainer that he trains with everyday, generally speaking?
Going one step further, have you ever tried to play guitar without a guitar teacher? I played guitar when I was young without taking any lessons and it took me five years to get to a level where I can OK. My kid learned guitar with a guitar teacher at $75/hr and he surpassed my guitar level six months after picking up the guitar for the first time.
I took it to mean covid is affecting all classes, i know many surgeons hurting with surgeries that were on hold, lawyers who took big pay cuts, recently hired physicians let go. Retirement funds dwindling.

People in my neighborhood of Potomac MD are conducting their lives the same way like it is just before the pandemic with a few modifications. We're still paying for private soccer lessons and private physical conditioning except that the soccer and conditioning coaches are now coming to our places to train our kids at four times a week. A few people in the neighborhood have their salaries reduced but you have to put it in context. One person makes 1.5M before the pandemic and his salary is now reduced by 20% so he is still making 1.2M and that he does not have a mortgage payment. three hours of soccer lessons a day is $2400/month is not a lot a whole lot to them.
My 2 months vacation in Europe for a family of five got cancelled so I use that money for my kids soccer training during the pandemic.
"Wealthy" people here in DCUM bragging about their private lessons? I seriously doubt.![]()

FYI- By law, (soccer association) coaches are not allowed to conduct private lessons with their players outside the club. My friend who lives in Potomac said that's a lie, people are respectful and following the guidelines, they are not "conducting the lives the same as before" NO ONE IS. Please stop spreading false rumors.
Exactly. We actually received an email back in March from our club highlighting this fact.

I just went out and checked. Fairfax county fields are not open for permitting. And NoVA sling go to Phase I on May 29 per the governor today.

Both of you are correct.
Fairfax County athletic fields are NOT open according to the government if you plan on having a soccer match there with 22 kids on the field. However, based on what I have observed so far in the past two months specific in the Mclean area, I see a small groups of less than 8 kids and a couple of coaches train everyday at a particular Fairfax County Public Park for three hours everyday for at least three hours right about the same time I go to my planting at the community garden. I see the police drove by everyday to check out the park but did nothing. Those kids even said hi to the police officer.

Is there any thought that kids like this be significantly more advanced than the other 95% of kids? My ulittle doesn't go out back to practice unless im with him. Otherwise i run 3 miles while he rides his bike just to attempt to keep some conditioning up. I hope coaches plan to add alot more conditioning training bc DSs has declined alot.
covid-19 is the ultimate separator between the "have" and "have not". Kids from wealthier neighborhood will separate themselves from kids from parents that can't afford training during the lock down. My kid plays lacrosse and he trains everyday with a former Silver metal Olympian trainer with five other soccer kids on physical training for two hours. The soccer kids train for two hours on soccer after the the physical conditioning. The physical trainer charges $50/hour per kid.
