Apparently, it is against the law to have a large knife to cut your watermelon in that park, and you cannot do archery.  But you're always entitled to pack heat and shoot pets with bad manners in VA. I won't say I'd absolutely never ever live in Virginia, but I can't imagine ever wanting to make a home there.  Add in the hideous sprawl and sterile 1970s architecture and there's nothing about NoVa that appeals to me.  The rest of VA is beautiful but if you're not White it doesn't feel welcoming or safe in those rural areas and small towns. [/quote]
