Nonsense.
+1 With all the scientific knowledge we now have showing the earth has existed for billions of years you still believe there was an “Adam”?
Actually science tells us there was a Mitochondrial Eve and a Y Chromosomal Adam. Single individuals who we are all descended from through our mothers or fathers.
Hey, also mention these things, why dontcha: - Mitochondrial Eve is hypothetical and that term is a euphemism - She and Y Chromosomal Adam may not have lived at the same time - Science also tells us there were antecedents - None of this - NONE - is in support of or consistent with biblical scripture or young earth creationism. No. Not yours. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondrial_Eve
I cannot believe people believe stories that aren't even in the bible
I cannot believe that people believe stories that are in the Bible.
I can’t believe non-believers spend hours here. Or think being catty is going to change anybody’s mind.
Why can't you believe that? And what is wrong with PP who just corrected science misinformation and provided information to support it?
I'm the PP that originally posted that Mitochondrial Eve, there was no science misinformation in my post. I didn't say that she lived at the same time as Y chromosomal Adam, or that they didn't have antecedents, or that they lived a certain number of years ago. I certainly didn't say her actual name was Eve. I'm not a Young Earth Creationist. I am religious, but I don't believe that Old Testament stories are history that is meant to be taken literally. I do think it's interesting to look at the ways that people made sense of the origins of the world, before they had access to modern science, and that while they obviously didn't figure out a lot of the details, this idea, that we are all descended from the same woman, that we have, so to speak a common mother, is in fact true.
https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Lying_by_omission
NP and you’re ridiculous. PP was totally straight-forward. Unlike your silly post that ascribes to pp all kinds of things she never said.
