Why don't you walk into the bank and ask for an ATM card?
I wouldn’t even try that now knowing how he is. Omg he probably has it set up with all kinds of alerts. I bet it has in big bold red, DO NOT GIVE WIFE DEBIT CARD. How embarrassing to put myself in that position. With all the bank employees snickering behind my back as I leave with my head down..
That’s not a thing. Do you have the account information? Then you can directly transfer from the joint account to your personal account. You seem to already know you’re in a bad marriage. Use this time to plan your exit.
Trust me it is a thing when your DH is known by everyone in the bank because he has other big accounts. Bankers kiss clients butts in these situations.
Did you just get here from 2005? You can set it up online without ever talking to a banker. Go to your personal account online. Look for a section that says something like “add funds” or “external transfers”. Type in the account numbers and routing number. The routing number is publicly available information. Really what you need is individual therapy to figure out why you are acting so helpless.
You really think it’s that easy? I guarantee it’s password protected!
Log into your bank account. Punch in the numbers. If your name is on the other bank account, then there are no passwords to enter. Have you never used online bank account access before? I’m starting to think you're a troll, because who doesn’t know this? Just log into your damn account and you’ll see it.
