Selfish and irresponsible parents. Kids do not decide by themselves. These parents putting their kids in high risk. Parents you have to respect your kids lives and their health or you may regret when kids get sick. Kids are kids and can’t understand but parents you should be a good example to your kids by following rules. I’d prefer my kid staying home do what he can do for training by himself, at least I am a avoiding that he becomes sick and end up with no future at all in any sport due to weak lungs or other disease.
I was just at a public turf field and there was one trainer there working 1v1 with a player. Honestly, it didn't look bad. Keeping plenty of distance. This did not worry me any NEAR as much as everyone else at the field with friends. Groups of 3 or 4 kids kicking the ball around. Sitting next to each other on their phones, sharing phones, and taking water breaks together, etc. Comingled families riding bikes around the park, stopping next to each other, etc etc. Honestly, I think a professional adult trainer with a soccer player is the least of our worries. Why are people so stupid? Like someone said...it's all no big deal til the kid is in the hospital all alone for weeks or the parent is and who is going to watch your kids when you are laying in the hospital. Think about it. What are the priorities? Keep your distance! Please!
Where was this? Around us the police are making rounds...
Same here (prince william and fairfax) - park police and state police making rounds and ticketing
The kids around here are so good the police come to watch and applaud.
Best post of the month. By far. Well done.
