Or at least which county? Most county fields in NOVA that are near me are under lock and key (where possible) and people are being told to leave others.
Fake news... Yes some fields are locked but not all. Also nobody is telling people to leave.

I’d prefer my kid staying home do what he can do for training by himself, at least I am a avoiding that he becomes sick and end up with no future at all in any sport due to weak lungs or other disease.
I was just at a public turf field and there was one trainer there working 1v1 with a player. Honestly, it didn't look bad. Keeping plenty of distance. This did not worry me any NEAR as much as everyone else at the field with friends. Groups of 3 or 4 kids kicking the ball around. Sitting next to each other on their phones, sharing phones, and taking water breaks together, etc. Comingled families riding bikes around the park, stopping next to each other, etc etc. Honestly, I think a professional adult trainer with a soccer player is the least of our worries. Why are people so stupid? Like someone said...it's all no big deal til the kid is in the hospital all alone for weeks or the parent is and who is going to watch your kids when you are laying in the hospital. Think about it. What are the priorities? Keep your distance! Please!
Where was this? Around us the police are making rounds...
Same here (prince william and fairfax) - park police and state police making rounds and ticketing
The kids around here are so good the police come to watch and applaud.

A calculated risk for sure, but we are doing it. 1 on 1 with the same trainer is less risk than taking a walk outside amongst strangers.
As someone with a family member with covid, I can say you are selfish as F*CK. Yes, you might not get sick. You probably won’t. But god only know who you’ll spread it to without even realizing it.

Can't a parent take the kid to the field and work 1v1 with him/her. It's not frickin rocket science. Put some cones out. Have him/her dribble through them and time her. Have her finish with a shot. Have her practice free kicks, corners, PKs. Punt some to her and have her trap it and take a shot on you. Working with someone outside of your family is f*****g stupid. Who is the trainer that is doing this?
go to the fields and look. Plenty of private training going on.
Not around us. We have police kicking people off of fields in Arlington.
Loudoun is doing the same and made it clear you are considered 'trespassing' and can be charged with a misdemeanor.
This resulted because people cannot get past their own selfishness and obey directives.
Or others cannot get past their own selfishness and let other people make decisions for themselves. Get over yourself. Would you say the same if our President says things should be open, but you kept your store shut? Would that be selfish? Or would that be your own decision? This America. You can expect a lot more of this. And we can expect a lot more of the carping above.
This is the dumbest argument I’ve heard yet.

According to early CDC data, 88% of ICU admissions for COVID-19 — the most severe cases — were among those 45 years of age or older. Those with underlying medical conditions are also at heightened risk. No one is totally in the clear, though — there have been severe cases among some younger, healthy patients, as well.
If you notice in the chart 20-29 year old range currently has more confirmed positives than the 30-39, 40-49 and 70-80+ age ranges.
