Our children are at a school regularly competing against both schools. In general I have not noticed such behavior from Sidwell boosters. Not saying it doesn’t happen, I’ve just noticed them to be regular, encouraging parents. However I have definitely seen it from GDS parents, who when present are either hyper critical or just not paying attention. And if there are cars parked illegally in the lot when you arrive, more than not those are cars with GDS bumper magnates.  [b]It could be the school lacks a booster culture.[/b] As far as I’ve seen from GDS parents we know from other parts of our life (former K-8 peers and from our work and house of worship), I can see that being the case. The parent behavior was troubling enough that we discouraged our children from considering the school when applying into HS. [/quote]

One thing that GDS definitely does not lack is a "booster culture."  GDS boosterism seems to be in the DNA.[/quote]
