Give a parent a break - you have no idea what his kids are like.[/quote] If the chancellor’s child had SPED issues I’m sure the law covers privacy matters if his child were enrolled in DCPS. If DCPS were truly servicing SPED families the way they were supposed to, then wouldn’t DCPS be adequate & resourceful enough to meet the needs of his SPED child? The real issue here is that the mayor and DCPS is still reeling from its gaff from the previous two chancellors and departure of Amanda Alexander. So private was the best option to keep everyone happy. [/quote]
