[/quote] I’m AA and it makes me uncomfortable but also grateful that a poster (who I assume is white is conscious enough and seems to be empathic towards other people experiences). I wonder how you would know whether a plantation had slaves? Even if they all didn’t, I always side eye couples who choose to marry on them and I would not go to one unless I was touring a converted historical site meant to honor the lives that were ruined.
