That pretty much sums up the "real story" on Maddux from a guy who knows him a lot better than whoever keeps trying to trash him.

Yes, he wrote a few harsh emails threatening children and their parents by saying he would blackball them if their kids didn't stick with the program. That's not harsh or competitive. 
He also runs a program continually caught cheating by playing kids from older rosters down onto younger rosters. The entire program had to forfeit at the Hershey tournament last summer and one of their teams had to forfeit in this year's HoCo playoffs. We aren't talking about kids born prior to the US guideline of 9/1. He plays kids enrolled in an older class in lower class divisions. [/quote]

And the sketchy behavior at that tournament he runs?  Check the teams attending year by year and you will see the quality going down because they good teams are going elsewhere what with all the shenanigans.  This was just a few months ago mind you.  [/quote]
