My kid is one of those. Perfect SAT scores, 10 scores of five on APs, straight As in an MCPS magnet.

Actually, fewer than 20 magnet seniors graduated with a weighted GPA over 4.75.  My kid was one of them.  That is impressive by any measure, given that the magnet accepts only 100 students each year to begin with.[/quote]

Is your daughter a senior?  That GPA as a magnet senior likely puts her in the top 5% of her class.  That is impressive by any measure.[/quote]
