Only 300 students a year get a perfect SAT score and I highly doubt that 50 of them live in Montgomery County. The average SAT score for the Magnet program is very high and they typically have between 35-40 NMSFs and I am sure several students get perfect scores but perhaps not half

Doing well academically is possible. Doing exceptionally well in many different kinds of intellectual pursuits in different areas and industries...that is amazing, Till date I have seen only one kid who was a genius. However, magnet is not about a genius kid, It is for kids who are GT and need this kind of academic acceleration and enrichment.
