To give one example -- the ball hit the corner flag and stayed in play, and one parent clapped and said, "All right, we get a corner kick." No, dude, you don't. The center ref had just finished a distinguished playing career that included call-ups to youth national teams. It's safe to say she knew the game 100 times better than the parents.
