That’s not what’s being argued in these threads.  People are making the claim that we should be stronger than less populous countries.  I agree with you, population is irrelevant.  Culture is supreme.  That’s why we suck (relative term) at soccer.   Like India and China. [/quote]

Yes.  I would not “take” the money.  The federal and state/local government do not exist to pay for children’s soccer.  Bridges and roads are crumbling, kids take classes in trailers, people are starving and you want these entities funding youth soccer???
