100% agree. Do you have any candidate to suggest? I am hoping there are more than 2 of us. Happy to back anyone with an alternative viewpoint to the current by and large disappointing  Council and Mayor.[/quote]

If you run, I'd contribute. Our politicians take DC residents absolutely for granted. And then go about their business with cronies. Awful.

Well thanks! Don't think I will but happy to contribute to anyone who plans to actually do something about crime. Why so many highly educated voters here have such low expectations of our Council/mayor when it comes to protecting the public (kids, no less) is beyond me.
