I'm putting you on the spot.  Dealing with mental health is a resource issue.  A lot of mentally ill people don't have the financial means to get treatment because their mental illness makes it hard to get or hold down a job.  That means someone else, YOU AND I will have to pay for their healthcare.   Also, what are you proposing to ensure that mentally ill people can't get their hands on guns?

I won't accept "mental illness" thrown around as chaff with no real intention of doing anything.  You might think it can get you off of the hook for gun control but in doing so you put yourselves on the hook for universal healthcare for the mentally ill and on the hook for mental health screenings for gun buyers and gun bans for the mentally ill.[/quote]
