:roll: Yes - the agenda and narrative of rewarding merit and meeting the needs of all students. High performing students need the rigor of magnets, low performing students need remedial courses and support.   MCPS should first try and get the URMs to be at least on "grade level" without lowering the criteria, and then look at the magnet program which is very small in the whole scheme of things. [/quote]
