We just moved our kid to Nysmith for next year. Might move house too. No reason to stay here for the schools.

How many Asians and Asian Americans are clamoring to work in the education field, especially in public schools, thus would be working at MCPS magnet programs to be part of the selection committee? Come on, you’re wanting them to get into STEM magnet so then they can get a traditional STEM job (because magnet science teacher might not live up to family expectations).

The data in this report although interesting doesn’t show that standards have declined. It doesn’t provide details comparing current with past years. You’re making assumptions for which you have no supporting evidence.

Yes. It seems to test for Intelligence and Knowledge. Speed and Accuracy is also a factor in doing well. They should take at least 50% of students who are performing below grade, and 50% of students whp are performing above grades. The knowledge will flow out in vapor-form from overly intelligent students and get soaked in the brains of less-intelligent students. Eventually, all intelligence and brilliance will be the same in all students.
