Plus they are increasing buses, bike lanes, etc. And it's really not dead on the weekends anymore. The city has put in some new breweries (Chubby Squirrel, Ornery, High Side), there are old standbys like Auld Shabeen, and some other decent restaurants. We were just out in the "city" a few weeks ago and all of these places were packed. If you mean no dance places as the equivalent of "dead", you may be right.
