[/quote] Right, and the overwhelming majority of UMC parents in the DC public school system are only willing to send their children to a middle school where most of the students can work at grade level or above (Deal, Hardly, Basis, Latin), or to a middle school with honors classes in academic subjects (Stuart Hobson). Parents would rather move or go private than choose schools where most students don't work at grade level. That's the harsh reality. Few of us want to see it in the lower grades. We love our row houses, and lives downtown.[/quote]
