My daughter only made valentines for her friends this year. OP, I think getting things at the store isn't a problem, if your DH has time. I think you should teach her that such help should be reciprocal when you live with people. So, sometimes you can ask her to pick some last-minute things up at the grocery store, and pay her back for them. Doing things for her with love should lead to her doing things for you in the same way, over time.[/quote]
