Virginia is a right to work State. The club may not have even given the coach a reason. They may have simply told the coach that their contract will not be renewed and the coach could have quit. Either way, you really are not entitled to know why for many, many reasons. It is certainly human nature to want to know but you should not have any expectation that you will be told by the club. Only the coach can really tell you what they were told and that is if they care to do that. [/quote]

They were not given a reason.   They did not quit.   They were simply told by email that their contract was being terminated.  [/quote]
