I love the Golden Girls.

Also: I think it's true that SATC hasn't aged well. But at least at first, it was - I think - a genuinely good and interesting show. Carrie wasn't a loser - none of them were - and she did actually grow up over the course of the show. You might have settled down young but she didn't - and also her job (which, as a writer myself, LOL at being able to write one column a week) was to go investigate New York's nightlife, subcultures, sexual habits. So it makes sense she was out. I guess it probably doesn't compare to being a BigLaw junior partner but it's still a real way to live.

I was living in New York during some of the period that the show was on, but never played that "which SATC character are you?" game because I wasn't any of them. I thought they were good characters who seemed to be living real - for them - lives. At least for a few seasons. It got weird toward the end. What was with Baryshnikov? And the movies were awful.
