This made me think of how it used to be with digital music. Music companies wanted you to buy the whole album for $16, so they made it real tough to download music. Unlike mob rushing the Mexico/U.S. border and getting "vetted" in a couple of 20 minute translator conversations, 5 minute doctor appt, and zero ID or homeland paperwork. All while getting put up on gov't dime for days or weeks. No fraud here, right folks!?![/quote]

No you idiot, stop lying.  Three years is the wait until visa number becomes available.  All background and fraud checks come AFTER that. It's three years just in waiting until you can file your application.
