It would even be fine if they listed players who had played for them for a significant portion of time. Who knows why a kid leaves but it isn't always because of negative reasons for the club. Sometimes situations just change either soccer or life. So if a kid who played for your club for 2-3 years, leaves and commits somewhere there is nothing wrong about saying congrats to the kid in someway. It probably should say something like "Congrats to former FCV player _____ for her Princeton commitment."

So what? Soccer wise Miami is harder to make than Princeton. Academic wise, Princeton is obviously harder to make than Miami. I guarantee you, being accepted to Princeton had nothing to do with the club she was playing with at the time. Having Miami interested in her soccer makes Princeton soccer look like NCSL by comparison. Her academic record is what got her into Princeton at that point.

Wrong. Princeton is ranked #24. Miami is #159. Princeton is a way better program and harder to make.[/quote]
