I haven't seen the GDA teams play yet but as far as the BDA teams, yes I do think they play a more possession based style than Arlington teams have typically been known for.

Arlington has always been hit or miss when it comes to possession vs run-and-gun.  Well, mostly miss, but there were always some exceptions.  Now, combined with the coaches they've brought in from outside, they've put their more possession based coaches in charge of their DA teams.

Also, didn't the GDA teams bring in a lot of non-Arlington players?  Especially on the 05s, it looks like less than half the team is from Arlington.

For the boys its kind of misleading.  Many of their 05s and 06s were previously on Arlington teams, but only for a year before being eligible for the DA.  The reality is they were mostly developed elsewhere.

On GDA:  we played them this year and last year.  Even with new players, same soccer style.  A blend of possession and lota of run and gun.  Same coach too.[/quote]

What are you talking about?  Arlington didn't even have GDA until this year. [/quote]
