California held its primary election June 6, while the incorrect registrations happened between April 23 and Sept. 25, according to the DMV.

“These mistakes from the DMV are absolutely unacceptable,” Padilla said. "My concern is it risks jeopardizing confidence in the electoral process."[/quote]
