Have faith it will work out and be willing to put yourself out there and meet people while living life. What activities are you interested in pursuing? Have you reconnected with old friends including the guys? Have someone look over your on line profile to see if it needs updating. I remember two strangers that I struck up conversations and both had divorced with teenagers. One person I met on plane had a spouse that after 20 years wanted a divorce. They divorced and she had a few years of dating that went nowhere. She somehow reconnected with a guy she knew from high school that had divorced (I think they had mutual friends) and now dating and very much in love. The other woman was someone I talked to during a training class. Think she was SAH mom with teenagers and sounded like spouse was the type to say she couldn’t do better and would never leave him. Sounded like a gem. She left, started over and worked her way up in her new career. Owned her on place, was dating a great guy etc. I guess I’ve seen lots of friends in mid-late 30’s divorce with kids and almost everyone is in a long term relationship. About half of them remarried to guys that have never been married that were no more than 7 years older and likely same age or younger. They met these guys at work, online, and through friends.
