OP here, and no....haven't listened to that radio station. (I don't. think I'll start, either.) What makes the whole thing worse with the NOI and other black nationalist groups is that they of all people should be aware of the harm that bigotry against minority groups cause. And yet here they are, objecting to the bigotry against blacks while perpetuating it against Jews. Disgusting. [/quote]

I was searching for childcare years ago, and the CHILD center on Riggs road is near, but after researching them and finding out their connections to NOI, Positive Kimetic Visions, and the Nawaupian movement (which I never had knowledge about before), it was really troubling.  I just don’t know how they would treat non-African American children there.  Honestly, I wouldn’t have put my child in there care for other reasons, but I was amazed at what I found out about them.

Yup. (I'm the OP.) Can you imagine if a Jewish group proudly hailed that a major racist was headlining one of their events? And although I know we can't force private groups, such as this PKV, from warmly embracing anti-Semites, and, unfortunately, poisoning young minds, [b]the very fact the DC Council has an openly blatant anti-Semite among its ranks - and seems to be OK with him remaining - does enable this private groups to advance their anti-Jew rhetoric too.[/quote][/b]
Still the OP, and I am emphasizing my own line above. This is why it is critical for the DC Council to take a firm stand and fire Lopez and pressure White to resign for their failure to condemn blatant anti-Semitism, and in doing so,  reveal their own. Otherwise, we have tacit acceptance of anti-Semitism among DC public officials - and bigoted organizations like PKV and NOI will [b]take it as a little "wink" to continue with their anti-white and anti-Jew bigotry[/b].[/quote]

Yes, and we saw that with Trayon. Look at how far he is pushing it! He got away with the Rothschild's conspiracy theory (I am among those who does not believe a magna cum laude college graduate [b]who ALSO associates with bigtime bigots like Farrakahn[/b] didn't know what he was saying).....then he got away with some lie about a meeting to duck out of the Holocaust tour......he made a remark about the ghetto being a "gated community" (those rich Jews, right?) ....and he barely gets a slap on the wrist.

And now, at a rally hosted in his name, a despicable Farrakhan bigot launches an anti-Jew attack, and Trayon refuses to condemn his remarks or even COMMENT on it. (The WaPo tried but was given an indifferent no comment.) His tweeter page (I haven't checked this afternoon but as of this morning) simply had a big "THANK YOU" to his constituents.
