I think they were both as guilty as sin.  Even if Sarah was "afraid" why the hell didn't she answer the door when CPS came to their home.  And what exactly did she think was going to happen on that 10/11 hour road trip that they took?

No sympathy for a grown azzed adult who had plenty of access to the outside world and had literally been in court over abuse charges.  She had plenty of opportunities to help those kids.  I think it's clear that she didn't help them because she was actively abusing them right along with Jennifer.[/quote]
