I know AAP seems like the center of the universe.  But so does math placement.  And TJ admissions. And college admissions. Once I get my 8th grader through the TJ process, I will need to help my TJ sophomore, then junior,  with college. Once he has figured college out, kid 2 will be ready to start. It’s hard to slow down and just enjoy them before they leave for college.

It starts with AAP admissions, but then there is always a next step. Try to unplug. Try to live your life.  Try to enjoy these years with your kids. It’s a cliche to say the days are long but the years are short— but it’s true.  Try to get some perspective. Lots of GE kids do great.
