We are very much like this and have been married much longer. Over time we've grown to know what each other likes and dislikes so we do our best to consider that when we are making solo decisions. We recently did a big home redo and except for the basic layout my DH stayed out of it because he trusted that I would think about what he likes as I made decisions. Over 30 years I don't recall us ever yelling at each other though we have certainly had disagreements. We've always been on the same wave length about money, kids, and sex which has helped.[/quote]
