I took DD to India at 11 mos to visit her great-grandmother, and then I took DS (whole family) at 7 mos. My grandmother passed a couple weeks after that second visit, and I think I would have regretted for the rest of my life if I hadn't taken the opportunity to have her meet my DS when I had the chance. You will manage the flight one way or another...so it really depends on whether it's worth it to you to facilitate the visit.[/quote]
