NP, and another meh for HHI. We went there with little kids, who wereWe  not going to stay together and bike safely to our various destinations. Many of which were in strip malls, which are not my favorite places.

I might have felt differently if I loved golf and tennis. But for me there was no offset to the lack of walkability.

I could see that. We love Hilton Head and usually drive to the stores or to get dinner but usually we just like to cook on the grill and spend time on the beach and in our villa playing board games. There are some areas of Hilton Head that are better for walking than others though, in case you ever want to give it another shot.  Sea Pines & Shelter Cove come to mind. There are nice views and restaurants in both those areas. [/quote]
