I lived on Upper and my brother lived on Newton. Newton freshman are more closely bonded than Upper and College Road freshmen. The shuttle isn't great, but it's not as long of a ride as the one people who go to massive universities have to take. Not that this is major, but the Newton dining hall is smaller and that makes it a little better. I definitely think my brother would have done well regardless, but some people who want a smaller community within a school, Newton is a nice option. [/quote]
