Holy Cross is a LAC and ranked 32 among that group.
Where would you put them without us news rankings? What about Villanova?
I'd rather go to BC over both ND or GU. Boston is an incredible college town.

Why would a Jew want to go to BC? Why would a catholic want to go to yeshiva or Brandeis?

BC is a good school, OP. It really is. I did a grad degree there, but I am very happy that my kid attends BC now.
(I am not thrilled by the expensive hovel where he will live in Cleveland Circle next year, but that's another story).
Boston is my favorite city in the world.
I was pretty shocked by how bad some of the off-campus apartments were and by how high the rents were. It's definitely nicer to live in the campus apartments, though that obviously comes with some extra scrutiny!

It is Jesuit but very diverse and has an accepting culture. I think it is at least 25% Hispanic and 25% Asian. The school just received the second largest donation to a Catholic school of 100 million dollars from the Sobratos to develop a new STEM center. The Sobratos who developed a lot of Silicon Valley including the Apple Campus have donated more money in the past. The undergrad population is about 5500 with plans to expand to 6000. It is a university but feels more like a LAC with small classes. A gem!
Classic statement by gigantic ignoramus.
The Jesuits by definition, are diverse and accepting.![]()
